Even calling this a 'stage' freezes something that is really in motion.

I notice my mind wanting to make a coherent story here, and I can let that go.

Halfway through defending my plan I could see the old wish to be the one who is right dressing itself up as principle, and the seeing didn't make it disappear.

Every framework I use to understand people is a lens ground from my own history; the more useful it becomes, the more lightly I try to hold it.
